I lost ALL of my entries over a years worth. What a waste of my time!

I love the idea of this app. It has everything I want in a diary app- folders, tags, easy to customize. I use kindle fire a lot but iPhone even more. So after long time thinking about it I decided to purchase pro version for its benefits- supposed ease of syncing between devices and online, saving my diary in pdf or text format, in other words access to everything I write on computer, tablet, and phone. So I went ahead and paid $3.99. For three days since every time I went on my kindle fire Diaro it kept telling me I have to purchase pro version again. I kept writing developers with no response at first, and then very limited unhelpful answers. Finally after sending them a receipt for purchase they updated my app on kindle as well as web version to pro. But now I cant sync data between kindle iPhone and web. After I backed up my most used diaro I went to web site and tried to import it from Dropbox only to keep getting messages that the file is corrupted. Again, no response from developers after three days. I have a feeling that unless I email each entry I made to myself and it will take 100 + emails, I wont be able to save 2 years worth of diary. And of course they are not willing to refund. So paying for pro ended up being a waste of money and a headache too. I will have to go dispute this charge with my credit card. Sad and angry about all of this. Dont waste money for a pro version and if you like free version, just remember to email your entries to yourself and save it on computer. But then the app is not very useful to begin with. May as well use free note taking app to journal.

But its been crashing constantly. Unable to access any notes. Also a request: An alphabetical sorting option. As of right now its only sorting notes by newest or oldest.

This is the best app for keeping a diary work log workout log , pretty much anything . Pay for the Pro version . The sync backup to drop box and to the device memory is priceless ! Works for me ! Thanks guys !

Ive always wanted to find an app like Day One, but cross platform for both my iPhone and PC, and I finally found it. The UI is very clean which is what I wanted. I wanted something appealing to the eye but still functional and this is it. Pay for the pro version because thats the only way it syncs which is what makes the app great! Pros: >Cross Platform >Beautiful >Syncs >Extremely Customizable Cons: >It crashes if I try to delete an entry >It one time messed up my sync and made a duplicate copy of the same post. I then deleted one but instead deleted both. If it wasnt for the bugs it would be a 5 star review

Very easy to use, we are using it regularly because it easy and fun. Provides all you need to create and share a journal, newsletter or whatever via email or social media. Does a good job importing photos also.

Ive had this app on a Galaxy S3, iPhone, and iPad. This app worked flawlessly on my Galaxy, but Ive had problems with it on my Apple products. When I first switched I couldnt get it to even open on my phone. That seems to be fixed , but its still a bit glitchy. It still wont open on my iPad....??? What gives? Anyway, overall love the app, would love it more if it worked consistently.

This app is awesome great therapy for me!

Its great to use for writing my stories.

The app is very good at keeping things safe and protected. However when I type there is a delay in how fast the words or letters show up. And I dont like how it puts random letters in place of quotes. If those problems are fixed it would be great.

I like the way this app works, at least so far. My only problem is that it seems the only way it can sync up across devices is by connecting my Dropbox account, which I really dont want to do. Otherwise I like it. Very straightforward and easy.

Great app. Have it on my phone and now on my iPad. Easily synchs between the two. Very easy to use, tagging is easy. Overall great diary app.

Having the ability to create folders is a plus. I also like the visual effects of color coding and the different background themes. Convenient and everything in one place.

I have tried many apps out there to use for my journal entries. None of them have been able to fulfill my needs like Diaro app has been able to do. I love the fact I can synchronize between my iPhone and iPad and it works very well. The main reason I did not give it a five star rating is I wish it was possible to attach videos and recordings to the entries. I have contacted the company in hopes they will consider adding this option. I will update my review based on their response. Blessings!

Very happy to have iOS journal app that works with my PC!

This app is seriously the best thing ever. It is the best free diary/journal app you could ever download. It is very organized and you can customize it to your liking. You can lock it with a password, and you can unlock it with your finger print! I love how you can add pictures too. The only problem is ever since iOS 9 the password hasnt been working at all. The app just opens when clicked on. This is a BIG problem for me. When it is fixed, I can come back and give this app 5 stars.
